December!
Like what??
I know - that's what I thought too! The good thing about December is that we don't have one of our Friday activities anymore, I think today is the last Tuesday one for one of our kids. I have to check to be sure - but it is either the last day or the second last day of gymnastics for Tapper. (is it weird that her name is Tapper on my blog here, but we aren't doing dance classes this year?)
Yay for activities being over. I want to share with you pictures of the girls trying water polo which is what we did have on Fridays before, but i don't think they are on the computer...hold on, I will check. No, I can't find them - they are probably on my phone, not my camera.
But check this out...
This is our new kitten - who is not so little anymore. Cute though, heh??
I will look for the pics of water polo...
Did I ever show you these??
This was the day our curriculum arrived - it was so exciting!
That whole box is full of books - I did take a bunch more pictures, but I won't bore you!
I just wanted to say too that I am feeling better - I have realized that in a lot of ways a few weeks ago, my whole world and schedule was a little out of control. I don't know why I do that - why I let that happen. I had purposed this year NOT to let that happen. But it did. Then I feel like I am not doing anything with excellence, but rather, doing all things with barely more than mediocrity - or worse. I know that this lifestyle is busy and it can be all-consuming. But I needed to be reminded to keep first things first. So when I re-evaluate my priorities it is easy to see what has to go and what has to be re-arranged in order to keep sanity.
I have heard that there is a good book out there for me to read right now, and I am just waiting to get my hands on it.
I feel like there was also a lack of someone to share all of that with when it was happening. My friend landscape has changed over the past couple of years, and I don't think I felt like I had anyone I could trust to share with when I was feeling overwhelmed either. Sad, but true. I know that God is working on all of this and He is with me in the midst. Thank you to those who have helped me walk through this last few weeks. I love you and you bless me incredibly!
On a lighter note - I will find the pics of water polo, they are adorable. You won't want to miss them!
