"what do those letters say, maw-maw?"

I can't tell you how many times a day I hear that around here! And yes, when she says mama lately, it sounds like maw-maw.  So today she was helping my type for the title! It is so amusing to me.  She is 3 years old and can start a CD in itunes no problem.  She can play on Starfall and has recently figured out how to play another show in our recorded TV section (we had a sweet free preview of Nickelodeon for a few weeks), although it does have to be in that screen.  This child causes me the such stress sometimes, but also such joy. She is so much fun!
She has so much personality.  I guess you have noticed that I am trying to keep this blog more anonymous.  For a variety of reasons I decided to try and use nicknames for them instead of their real names.  To be quite honest when I was talking about this to someone else, it was that person who suggested we use Dash for her name, after the kid in The Incredibles.  So anyway, I can't actually remember who originally suggested it (please remember that I am operating at a level of perpetually no sleep) but it fits so well! She has such an energy, such a kamikaze-ness to her!   She came up to me the other day, right out of the blue and said, "Mawmaw, I want a motorcycle."  Yup, not surprising!
