I was doing so good...

I had even done some posts early and scheduled them to be posted at a later time! It was all going so good! Then i remembered about school reports and everything came to a crashing halt!

Once that was done we started to get ready for our billets. We have been so blessed the past three summers to host some girls who have come to our city to train to teach 5-day clubs. They come for two weeks and then they head out across Alberta and Saskatchewan to reach kids with the gospel of Jesus Christ! It is a pretty fantastic thing to be a part of.

Then they were here for 2 weeks and we had a lot of cooking going on - I don't make a hot lunch every day, but with a bunch of people to send a lunch for, I have taken to sending them with a crockpot of soup for lunch most days instead of making sandwiches for them, which just meant a bit more cooking in the morning, which is when I normally blog.

Probably what really happened is that I got a new phone, so now i have instagram.  I love instagram!

Anyway, now that the girls are gone (including my oldest daughter) and now the dust has settled into a bit more of regular rhythm, here I am!

Not too much to report, just that we are loving summer holidays and I don't even want to think about next year's school stuff - which I am giving myself until Aug 1 to forget about, and then I have to have what I want ordered and decided on by Aug. 15.  That is my rough plan!
Oh, my, just writing that makes me realize that my plan has to be in to the school board by the 15th.  Ugh!  Anyway, I am not thinking about that right now!

We are on holidays right now.  For this week and next. We aren't' going anywhere, but doing some work in the back yard.  So we'll see how that all goes.  Right now one old section of fence is gone and will be back in place by day's end tomorrow I am sure. My husband has been working like a mad man today moving dirt, digging out the old fence posts, putting in the new ones.  We'll see how tomorrow goes.  Here is a picture of him and the girls that we used to enter a contest for Father's day!  I totally love this picture!

Well, it is almost midnight and my baby will likely be awake before long - and I am being kind of random, so I am going to call it a night!  Hopefully I will post before a month from now!
