Summer that is...almost over. I have submitted half of my educational plans and begun trying to organize what we will need, and purchased new crayons and glue sticks. Some moms don't buy new school supplies every year, but I love fresh crayons, so I do! I buy new crayons, markers, pens and pencils, scissors, calculators, and usually everyone gets a new girly notebook at the beginning of the year as well! Gotta keep it fun!
I am really excited about this upcoming year. I showed you already a bunch of the stuff that I have ordered, and I just ordered more. I am very excited however! We are going to use a program for the first time, that I have wanted to use since I first saw it 8 years ago when we started homeschooling. I first saw it when Ballerina was in Kindergarten and I wanted to use it, but it was SO expensive. We had no money at the time, the dollar was kind of low in comparison to our neighbours to the south and I just couldn't wrap my head around spending all my school board funding on one thing in case it didn't work. Actually, it would have been all my school board funding and then some!
Anyway, it actually hasn't changed that much in price over the years, we have a bit more income now,and I am using it for more than one child, so all in all I think it will be great! I am also planning on investing in a foreign language program that I have wanted forever as well. It is about time!
Well, I should go to bed, I washed a LOT of laundry today, and folded most of what was already washed and so I am ready to hit the hay! I will share more on this later!
